Sustainability is the core of our business. We use safe, high-quality raw materials sourced from accredited suppliers, and we are constantly committed to reducing our environmental impact. Thanks to the installation of photovoltaic panels, we have already achieved a 30% reduction in electricity consumption, thereby contributing to the protection of our environment.

Discover project

Through our partnership with Treedom, Sacchettificio Corazza is committed to supporting global reforestation and agroforestry projects by planting 1,000 trees across 10 countries, including Tanzania, Madagascar, Kenya, Guatemala, Colombia, Cameroon, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Nepal, and Ecuador. This initiative aligns with 10 of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), helping to fight climate change, enhance biodiversity, and empower local communities, creating a positive environmental and social impact worldwide.

Certified forests

The paper used by Sacchettificio Nazionale G. Corazza S.p.A. comes from highly qualified suppliers according to global “chain of custody” standards, ensuring the origin and traceability of wood materials throughout the entire supply chain.The aim of these schemes is to develop responsible forestry that maintains a good balance between forest production, environmental interests, and social interests, promoting the concept of sustainable forests.SQS certifies that Sacchettificio Corazza, in relation to its product chain (Chain of Custody, COC), meets FSC® standards (in their current version).

Carbon footprint

The Carbon Footprint is an environmental indicator that measures the impact a product can have on the climate and global warming.This indicator is useful for calculating the absorption and emission of carbon dioxide and greenhouse gases throughout the entire life cycle of a product (LCA).Thanks to the Carbon Footprint, the impact a product can have on the environment can be analyzed and compared with other products within the same category. This analysis process takes into account all the stages of a product’s life, from raw material extraction to production, from its use to its complete disposal.Sacchettificio Nazionale G. Corazza S.p.A. contributes to the protection and respect of the environment by placing the utmost attention on the Carbon Footprint and is able to calculate its value for each product manufactured.
